For anyone who is interested here is a list of classes I'll be taking first semester:
Old Testament Archeology
Composition and Research
Elementary Greek
Public Speaking
Gospel, Church, and Culture
Third World Issues
I'm a little nervous about Greek, but at the same time I'm excited. Languages aren't exactly my aptitude, so it will be a challenge. I survived for two weeks eating bugs, however, so I'm up for anything. Classes start today. I've only got two, and my first one doesn't start till 12:45. In fact, I have no morning classes. How's that for an awesome schedule? I'm loving it while I can. Who knows what next semester holds...

geeks make me a little nervous too, you never know what kind of awkward thing they'll say next...
With that schedule you're really going to fall behind on current events. Speaking of public speaking and elementary greek, you could kill two birds with one stone (no pun intended) by studying Desmothenes. Particularly since you have been practicing speaking for the previous two weeks with bugs in your mouth, stones might be a nice change.
WHAT! ? !! NO MORNING CLASSES!!! i should have gone to wheatin
I'M READING YOUR BLOG!
Great Blog Meredith. Love the background color...The boys all wanted non morning classes every semester, I don't think they ever got their wish, and you who didn't care- got it without trying. Ironic
I often slept through my morning classes in college.
And I don;t think you should stay that up on current events in college. Every moment that is spent reading a newspaper is a moment that you could be reading the classics. After college there is plenty of time for current events. There is a good side in being in an ivory tower, learning what has come before.
I want to hear about square dancing!
